City of Lexington issued the following announcement on May. 12.
The City of Lexington has an Alderman vacancy in Ward 2. That ward consists of all property west of Oak Street and North of Main Street.
Person must be a registered voter in that ward and possess a strong desire to serve the community. Our meetings are held on the second and fourth Mondays each month. There will be some special committee meeting throughout the year as well.
Interested parties are asked to submit a letter of interest to the Mayor no later than June 1, 2021.
