Bloomington/Normal Zen Group issued the following announcement on July 31
Good Evening, Friends.
Apologies for this late notice.
The Bloomington-Normal Zen Group has been trying our best to follow CDC guidelines regarding COVID transmission and protection. The current guidelines say that everyone, even fully vaccinated individuals, should wear masks in indoor public spaces within communities experiencing substantial or high transmission rates. McLean County is currently experiencing "substantial community transmission" according to the McLean County Health Department.
Effective immediately and until the CDC guidelines suggest otherwise, we are going to require all attendees to our Sunday zazen and service to wear masks.
Thanks so much for your understanding and for doing everything we can to keep everyone healthy and safe.
We will meet tomorrow morning (Sunday) at 9 AM at Cometogether Space, 212 N Roosevelt Ave., Bloomington.
