City of Le Roy City Council Personnel Committee Met Aug. 3.
Here is the agenda provided by the committee:
ROLL CALL
Anyone interested in speaking publicly at a City Council or Committee of the Whole Meeting is welcome. The council appreciates all questions and comments, but will not respond to comments at this time. While the Illinois Open Meetings Act mandates that the City Council may NOT take action on comments received on matters that have not been identified on this agenda, council may direct staff to address the topic for action or discussion on the agenda for another meeting.
NOTE: 1. Each speaker shall be allowed a total of up to 3 minutes to present his/her comments.
2. There shall be allotted a total of up to 15 minutes in the aggregate for all public comments.

EXECUTIVE SESSION
Closed session pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2 (c)(1) to discuss the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of specific employees of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee of the public body or against legal counsel for the public body to determine its validity, and • Closed session pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2 (c)(3) the selection of a person to fill a public office, as defined in this Act, including a vacancy in a public office, when the public body is given power to appoint under law or ordinance, or the discipline, performance or removal of the occupant of a public office, when the public body is given power to remove the occupant under law or ordinance.. Specifically interview of applicants for the position of City Clerk/Collector/Assistant to the Administrator.
