Village of Cullom Village Board Met June 22.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

Mayor Hahn called the Regular Meeting of the Cullom Village Board to order at 7:00 p.m. at the Village Hall.

Members Present: Hahn, Flessner, Mills, Wallrich, Rock, J. Meister and K. Meister

Absent: Krause

Also, Present: Lovell

Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag: All present took part in the Pledge Allegiance to the Flag

Minutes: Motion to accept, by consent agenda, the May 27, 2021 regular meeting minutes was made by Mills/Wallrich. M/C

Public: None

Maintenance Report:

Report on the second round of mandatory follow-up of lead/copper tests and on the next steps to be taken Meter installation is running more smoothly since residents are being called to let them know when meters will be installed Report on water usage compared to previous year Report on the response from General Pump regarding the high service pump sent to be inspected and possibly rebuilt

• The drainage ditch has been sprayed for weeds

• A discussion was held on water meter installation and the possibility of damage being done while installation of resident's water lines.

• Village streets have been chipped

• Sidewalk repairs will be taking place soon

Attorney Report: Reported on ongoing litigations. The village has received the warranty deed for the recent property purchase

Clerk Report: Rock/Jehle made the motion to pay the bills, with the exception of a bill from Republic Services ($646.75) that Lovell will investigate. The clerk will pay the bill upon Lovell's approval. Total bills for the month, including the Republic Service bill is $27,583.46. All voted in favor and M/C

Treasurer Report: Results of the MET Audit was reported to the board. Wallrich/Mills made the motion to accept the monthly treasure report as presented

Old Business:

• Phase 1 of Water Metering - Meters are being installed. The Water Committee will hold a meeting on August 17, 2021 at 4:30 pm at the Village Hall

• MET Maple Street Project - Work has not been closed and there is still landscaping maintenance to be completed Water Tower Project - The Debt Forgiveness Loan and the Construction Permit have been approved and moving forward with the Certification of Plans/Specifications Compliance with PWSLP Rules

• Iron Tank Project - On hold for next year

• Property Liens - Mills reported on the progress of liens

• Kennedy Drain Maintenance - No estimate has been received

• Ordinance Violations - No Report

• Septic Tank Inspections - Tabled until a future meeting

New Business: None

Any Other Business

• Appropriation Ordinance will be signed next month

• Third quarter water bills will be mailed out on July 1, 2021
