City of Bloomington issued the following announcement on Dec. 20
Golfers don’t have to wait until the spring to play the first round of 2022.
Highland Park Golf Course is hosting the 49th Annual Snowbird Open Golf Tournament on Saturday, January 1st, 2022.
The event will be played as a nine-hole individual stroke play with all play taking place on the back nine. Clubhouse opens at 9am. All golfers must tee off by noon. Entry fee is $2 per person. Carts will be available on a limited basis, weather permitting. Players are not obligated to keep score.
Players are welcome to make their own foursome or groups, no tee times will be taken. Players are not required to keep score.
