Report: Odell School District spent $15,341 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Odell Community Consolidated School District 435 was up 12.4 percent from five years ago, according to the McLean County Times analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Livingston County school district spent $13,648 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $15,341 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 163 to 146 students over the same period.

Odell's spending in 2019-20 was 5.9 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
