Dwight home prices rose in the first quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2019 in Dwight rose by $32,400 while total sales increased by 22.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2019, there were 11 homes sold, with a median sale price of $149,900 - a 27.6% increase over the $117,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Dwight in the first quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Dwight for 2019 was $3,022. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,811. This marks an increase of 7.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2%.
