Median home prices in Cornell fell to $25,000 in the second quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2018 in Cornell fell by $52,250 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2018, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $25,000 - a 67.6% decrease over the $77,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Cornell in the second quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Cornell for 2018 was $1,814. In 2017, the median sales tax was $1,806. This marks an increase of 0.4%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 7.3%.
