Odell median home prices fell by 62.4% in the second quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in Odell fell by $80,500 while total sales increased by 200%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $48,500 - a 62.4% decrease over the $129,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Odell in the second quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Odell for 2017 was $1,858. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,833. This marks an increase of 1.4%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.8%.
