Rising home prices in Cornell in the second half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Cornell rose by $12,000 while total sales decreased by 14.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $97,000 - a 14.1% increase over the $85,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Cornell in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Cornell for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,550, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
