How did home prices perform in Pontiac during the first half of 2018?

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2018 in Pontiac fell by $2,750 while total sales increased by 30.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2018, there were 98 homes sold, with a median sale price of $84,750 - a 3.1% decrease over the $87,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 75 homes sold in Pontiac in the first half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Pontiac for 2018 was $2,203. In 2017, the median sales tax was $2,186. This marks an increase of 0.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.6%.
