Dwight home prices rose in the first half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2018 in Dwight rose by $750 while total sales increased by 3.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2018, there were 33 homes sold, with a median sale price of $89,500 - a 0.8% increase over the $88,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 32 homes sold in Dwight in the first half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Dwight for 2018 was $2,811. In 2017, the median sales tax was $2,568. This marks an increase of 9.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.1%.
