Pontiac home prices fell in January 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2018 in Pontiac fell by $2,750 while total sales increased by 75%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2018, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $90,000 - a 3% decrease over the $92,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Pontiac in January 2017.

The median sales tax in Pontiac for 2018 was $2,203. In 2017, the median sales tax was $2,186. This marks an increase of 0.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.4%.
