The Board of Education of Rooks Creek C.C.S.D. #425 held a regular board meeting at the school. School Board President Kristen Hinz called the meeting to order at 6:47 p.m. Roll call: Elizabeth Alvey absent; John Grampp, present; Kristen Hinz, present; Steve Mattingly, absent; Abby Rinker, present; Kassandra Ryerson, present.
Guest Present: Nathan Bailey, Elizabeth Bailey, Liz Hensley, Angela Baldwin, Bryan Baldwin, Kendra Smith, Dustin Smith, Judy Shubert, Dan Shubert, Jamie Drilling, R. Elaine Legner, Mark Legner and Leah Hansen. Superintendent Todd Bean was also present.

A motion was made by Kassandra Ryerson, seconded by Scott Drilling to approve the agenda. Voice vote. All ayes. 2 absent. Motion carried.
A motion was made by John Grampp, seconded by Kassandra Ryerson to approve the amended April minutes, by adding in Scott Drilling swearing in. Voice Vote. All Ayes. 2 absent. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Kassandra Ryerson, seconded by Kristen Hinz to approve the April Treasurer’s Report. Roll call vote. All ayes. 2 absent. Motion carried.
A motion was made by John Grampp, seconded by Scott Drilling to approve the May payment of bills. Roll call vote. All ayes. 2 absent. Motion carried.
Old Business:
A motion was made by John Grampp, seconded by Kassandra Ryerson to approve eLeaning for the FY 23-25 school years. Voice vote. All ayes, 2 absent. Motion carried.
New Business:
A motion was made by Kristen Hinz, seconded by Abby Rinker to approve the IESA dues as presented. Roll call vote. All ayes. 2 absent. Motion carried.
A motion was made by John Grampp, seconded by Scott Drilling to approve the hiring of Addison Bean for summer help as presented. Roll call vote. All ayes. 2 absent. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Kassandra Ryerson, seconded by Kristen Hinz to approve field trips as presented. Voice vote. All ayes. 2 absent. Motion carried.
A motion was made by John Grampp, seconded by Kassandra Ryerson to adjourn at 7:34 p.m. Voice vote. All ayes. 2 absent. Motion carried.
