Home prices increased in Danvers during the first half of 2022

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Danvers rose by $55,000 while total sales decreased by 10 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were 18 homes sold, with a median sale price of $177,000 - a 45.1 percent increase over the $122,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 20 homes sold in Danvers in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Danvers for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,431, approximately 1.9 percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
