Illinois State University is ranked 53rd (out of 222) in the “Best Value Schools” category in the U.S. News & World Report 2022-2023 Best Colleges rankings.
Illinois State is also ranked among the top public universities and top national universities in the nation and is included in the list of best colleges for veterans. A listing of the rankings can be found online.
U.S. News & World Report rankings are based on a number of factors such as peer assessment scores, student retention and graduation rates, graduation rates of Pell grant recipients, student-to-faculty ratio, and alumni giving.
