Village of Cullom Board of Trustees met Dec. 27.

Mayor Hahn called the December 27, 2022 Regular Meeting of the Cullom Village Board to order at 7:00 p.m. at the Village Hall.
Members Present: Hahn, Flessner, Mills, Jehle, Krause, J. Meister, Wallrich and Rock
Absent: K. Meister
Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag: All present took part in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag
Minutes: Motion to accept, by consent agenda, the November 22, 2022 regular meeting minutes was made by Rock/Mills- M/C
Public: None
Maintenance Report:
The new village truck has arrived and is in use
Attorney Report: None
Clerk Report: Krause/Wallrich made the motion to pay the monthly bills totaling $54,365.64. All voted in favor and M/C
Treasurer Report: Mills/Meister made the motion to accept the report as presented. All voted in favor and M/C
Old Business:
Water Tower - Hahn showed the color of blue that will be used on the new tower to the board Water Metering/Project/Billing - Discussion was held on the process of billing/collecting and shut off notifications
Un-sewered Community Grant - Proposal has been signed and report submitted
Property Access Agreement - No new information
Property Liens - No new information
Farm Property Sale - Looking at a January closing date
Selling Village Truck - Wallrich/Krause made the motion that the old truck is surplus and authorized the sale of the truck. All voted in favor and M/C. Krause/Jehle made the motion to sell the truck through Del Peterson Auction with a reserve price of $7,500 and to have Hahn sign the contract to sell. All voted in favor and M/C
Krause presented the board with information on lettering for the new village truck from Quad County Fire and Equipment. The price for door lettering/design will be $255. All voted in favor and M/C. Pricing on different styles of strobe lights was also discussed and will be looked into further before making a decision.
