Village of Cullom Board of Trustees met Jan. 24.

Mayor Hahn called the January 24, 2023 Regular Meeting of the Cullom Village Board to order at 7:00 p.m. at the Village Hall.
Members Present: Hahn, Flessner, Mills, Jehle, Krause, Wallrich and Rock
Absent: J. Meister and K. Meister
Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag: All present took part in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag
Minutes: Motion to accept, by consent agenda, the December 27, 2022 regular meeting minutes was made by Rock/Mills- M/C
Public: None
Maintenance Report:
Several residential properties had frozen water pipes due to the extreme cold in December Report given on IEPA Lead/Copper testing in the village
The snow plow attachment has been modified and works much better
A list of equipment replacement/repairs was discussed
Street maintenance was discussed
Attorney Report: None
Clerk Report: After review of the bills, Krause/Jehle made the motion to transfer $35,518.09 from the tiling account to the water account. M/C
Rock/Mills made the motion to pay Piggush invoice #4715 for Unsewered Grant from General Fund. M/C Rock/Mills made the motion to pay monthly bills totaling $38,757.33. M/C
Treasurer Report: Rock/Mills made the motion to accept the report as presented. M/C
Old Business:
Water Tower - No Report
Water Metering/Project/Billing - Discussion was held on amending section 12 of the water ordinance. Jehle/Wallrich made the motion to accept the following amendment: Upon good payment, water reconnection will be done only during business hours
Residents will be instructed to take all water issues to town board meetings or during village office hours and not to board members places of business. Concerns may also be called in to the village office and will be addressed as soon as possible
Un-sewered Community Grant - Proposal has been signed and report submitted
Property Access Agreement - Tabled until next meeting
Property Liens - No report
Farm Property Sale - A Special Meeting will be held on January 30, 2023 at 4:30 pm
Selling Village Truck - The village truck was son at auction for a total of $12,800. After fees to the auction company the village will receive a check for $11,932
New Business:
Audit The 2022 audit was presented to the board
Office Security Camera - Rock/Krause made the motion to purchase a camera to cover the village hall
Any Other Business
Rock reported that the farm rent check was received
Tiling discussion was held and will be discussed further with the Unsewered Community Grant
