In a critique towards Gov. J.B. Pritzker's administration, Sally J. Turner, State Sen. of Illinois State Senate, Illinois General Assembly pointed out the governor's alleged lack of focus on state matters. The statement was made on Nov. 1st.

"We fear this administration is more focused on national politics and not managing the problems in our own state. Unfortunately, too many agencies are part of the dysfunction and mismanagement and lack of accountability", said Sally J. Turner. She emphasized that rather than improvements being made, issues under current leadership have only escalated, particularly in the wake of distractions regarding developments in other states.

"This is not a partisan issue," she clarified, "The governor needs to be more focused on Illinois and we need to THINK Illinois", she continued.

Sally J. Turner's political career spans numerous committee memberships since her first election to the Illinois Senate in 2021. As a Republican representative from Beason, her service extends across the Ethics Committee and Senate Higher Education Committee according to official reports from the Illinois Senate.

Meanwhile, Gov.J.B.Pritzker set into motion his nonprofit venture Think Big America in Oct., which is an extension of his Think Big campaign theme presented during his gubernatorial run back in 2018.

Think Big America is primarily dedicated to endorsing ballot measures that safeguard abortion rights with businessperson Desirée Rogers, Illinois state Rep. Margaret Croke and Chicago Ald.Michelle Harris featuring as members of its board of directors.
