State Representative Jason Bunting (il) | Representative Jason Bunting (R) 106th District
State Representative Jason R. Bunting (R-Emington) welcomed 7th and 8th grade students from Thomas Metcalf School in Normal to the Illinois House of Representatives on March 5, 2024.
During the visit, Representative Bunting expressed his excitement to have the students at the Capitol. He said, "It's always a pleasure to welcome young students to the Capitol and show them how our government works."
The students from Thomas Metcalf School had the opportunity to observe the legislative process firsthand and learn about the functions of the state government.
The visit provided a valuable educational experience for the students, allowing them to engage with their state government in a meaningful way.
