Rep. Dennis Tipsword is collaborating with the Illinois Treasurer’s Office in June to assist residents in identifying and reclaiming unclaimed cash held by the state. On June 4, Rep. Tipsword will host an I-CASH event at his district office in Pontiac, where staff from the Treasurer’s Office will be available to check unclaimed property records and help file claims.
“The Treasurer’s Office currently has $3.5 BILLION owed to Illinois residents. Our goal is to help you find out if any of it belongs to you, and if so, help you get it into your wallet. You may have funds from a forgotten bank account, stock dividends or some other source that you can reclaim. Mark your calendar and join us on June 4th to claim your cash!”
