A McLean County Unit District No. 5 Board of Education meeting was held Monday, April 22, 2024, beginning at - 5:00pm (Sign up for public comments will be open from 3:45pm - 4:45pm) at the Unit 5 District Office, 1809 W Hovey, Normal, IL 61761.

1. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL

Meeting began at 5:46 p.m.

Members present: Mark Adams, Kentrica Coleman, Jeremy DeHaai, Stan Gozur, Amy Roser, Alex Williams, Kelly Pyle. Members absent: None.

Also present: Superintendent Dr. Kristen Weikle, Chief Financial Officer Martin Hickman, Attorney for the District M. Curt Richardson, Director of Communications/Community Relations Dayna Brown. 2. Public Comment

No public comment.

3. ACTION

A Resolution of the Board of Education of Community Unit School District No. 5, McLean and Woodford Counties, Illinois, Authorizing the Law Firm of Brown, Hay & Stephens to File a Request to Intervene in an Appeal Proceeding before the Illinois Property Tax Appeal Board

Roser moved and Pyle seconded to approve Resolution of the Board of Education of Community Unit School District No. 5, McLean and Woodford Counties, Illinois, Authorizing the Law Firm of Brown, Hay & Stephens to File a Request to Intervene in an Appeal Proceeding before the Illinois Property Tax Appeal Board.

Roll Call: Ayes: Adams, Coleman, DeHaai, Gozur, Roser, Williams, Pyle. Nays: None. Motion carried.

4. ADJOURNMENT

At 5:10 p.m. the Board adjourned.
