Town of Normal Local Liquor Commission met May 6.

Here are the minutes provided by the commission:

1. CALL TO ORDER:

Liquor Commissioner Koos called the Special Meeting of the Normal Local Liquor Control Commission to order at 7:02 p.m., Monday, May 6, 2024.

2. ROLL CALL:

The Secretary called the roll with the following persons physically

PRESENT: Commissioner Chris Koos and Commission Members Kevin McCarthy, Kathleen Lorenz, Scott Preston, Karyn Smith, Andy Byars and Chemberly Harris.

ABSENT: None.

3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: SPECIAL MEETING – MARCH 18, 2024:

MOTION:

Ms. Harris moved, seconded by Ms. Smith, the Minutes of the Special Meeting of the Normal Local Liquor Control Commission of March 18, 2024, be Approved.

AYES: Lorenz, Harris, Byars, Smith, Preston, McCarthy, Koos.

NAYS: None.

Motion declared carried.

4. 2024-25 LIQUOR LICENSE APPLICATION: 21 YEARS LLC., d/b/a Busa’s Gaming Lounge & Café, 1520 E. College Avenue, Suite M, Normal, IL:

MOTION:

Mr. McCarthy moved, seconded by Ms. Harris, recommending the approval of a Class C Liquor License to 21 YEARS LLC., d/b/a Busa’s Gaming Lounge & Café, 1520 E. College Avenue, Suite M, Normal, Illinois contingent on the payment of license fees and any outstanding inspections from the McLean County Health Department, Normal Fire Inspections Division, or Normal Building Inspection Department.

AYES: Harris, Byars, Smith, Preston, McCarthy, Lorenz, Koos.

NAYS: None.

Motion declared carried.

5. ADJOURNMENT:

There being no further business to come before the Commission, Commissioner Koos called for a Motion to Adjourn
