Illinois Wesleyan leads WashU Spring Invitational after first round

Four players from the Illinois Wesleyan University women's golf team are among the top five individuals at the WashU Spring Invitational. The team holds a 10-stroke lead after the first round of play, which took place at Crescent Farms Golf Club in Crescent, Missouri.

Lexi Onsrud leads the individual standings with a score of one-under 71. Emma Thorman follows closely with a one-over 73, while Jacque O'Neill and Rachel Ducaji are tied for fifth place with scores of 75 each.

Illinois Wesleyan's team posted a total score of 296, leading the tournament by ten strokes over Washington University (306). Macalester College is in third place with a score of 316, and DePauw University and WashU's 'B' team are tied for fourth at 325. Illinois Wesleyan's 'B' team is currently in seventh place with a score of 332.

The final round is scheduled for April 7, with live results available through Golfstat.
