The Illinois Wesleyan University men's tennis team secured a narrow victory against Colby-Sawyer College in Orlando, Florida, on March 11. The Titans edged past the Chargers with a score of 5-4, improving their season record to 6-2. This win matches their best start since the 2020-21 season.

During doubles play, Illinois Wesleyan took an early lead with victories at positions No. 1 and No. 3. Ian Turnbull and Ryan McCoy clinched an 8-3 win at the top spot, while Thad Dillow and Griffin Hammond achieved an 8-7 (4) victory at No. 3 after a tiebreaker.

In singles competition, Ben Vigneri moved up to the No. 1 spot and won his match after taking the first set 6-1 and securing the second set through a tiebreaker with a score of 7-6 (5). Thad Dillow recovered from losing his first set to win his match at No. 4 singles with scores of 6-3 and 10-4 in subsequent sets. Jordan Sibley-Diggs played at No. 6 singles, winning his match by claiming the third set with a score of 10-6 after splitting the first two sets.

Illinois Wesleyan is scheduled for two more matches on March 12 during their trip, facing St. Norbert College in the morning and Hampden-Sydney College in the evening.
