FOIA Request to City of Bloomington Regarding Building Permits on October 30, 2024.
We at McLean County Times have formally requested records under the Illinois Freedom of Information Act from the City of Bloomington. The request pertains to all new residential and commercial building permits issued from January 1, 2023, up until the present date. We are seeking detailed information including the type of permit, date issued, fee paid, requester details, address, and contractor name for each permit.
In addition to this, we have also asked for a list of all active residential and commercial building permits along with their current status. This request mirrors the previous one in terms of data fields required - type of permit, date issued, fee paid, requester details, address, and contractor name.
