The Boys & Girls Club of Livingston County is set to open its new Fairbury Center on June 2nd. The facility will serve as an Intergenerational Center, offering activities for both youth and seniors. Young attendees can participate in tutoring, after-school projects, games, robotics, and educational field trips. Meanwhile, senior citizens can engage in exercise, cooking, gardening, and volunteering.

Although unable to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony due to commitments in Springfield, plans are underway for a visit this summer.

Located at 800 N 7th St in Fairbury, the center aims to foster community engagement across different age groups. Gratitude was expressed towards Jodi Martin and numerous donors who contributed to making this project a reality.
