The Illinois Wesleyan University women's tennis team is set to resume conference play against Millikin University on Tuesday, September 23. The match will take place at the Fairview Park Tennis Complex in Decatur, Illinois, with a scheduled start time of 2 p.m.

Illinois Wesleyan currently holds a record of 3-2 overall and 0-2 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW), while Millikin stands at 2-4 overall and 1-3 in conference play.

In their most recent dual match, Illinois Wesleyan faced Monmouth College. The Titans secured two out of three doubles matches to take an early lead. At No. 2 doubles, sophomores Katie Van Heuklon and Gabi Lipske defeated Natalie Holst and Alayna McKinley 6-0. Freshmen Adia Douglas and Elana Religioso clinched the doubles point at No. 3 doubles with a 6-0 win over Kimber Calvert and Tiah Riggs.

The Titans went on to sweep all six singles matches. Junior Amber Ehrlich won her match at the top singles spot, defeating Stefanova 6-2, 6-3. Lipske earned a victory at No. 2 singles by overcoming Labicki in three sets, 6-2, 0-6, 10-8. Van Heuklon recorded a straight-set win over Calvert at No. 3 singles, while junior Olivia Bell defeated Holst at No. 4 singles. Douglas secured a win over McKinley at No. 5 singles, and Religioso completed the sweep with a straight-set victory over Riggs at No. 6 singles.

Reflecting on last year's meeting between the two teams, Illinois Wesleyan claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles—Kate Christian and Lipske took their match at No. 2 doubles with a score of 7-5, while the team also benefited from a forfeit at No. 3 doubles.

In singles competition during that previous encounter, Illinois Wesleyan won five out of six matches. Ehrlich posted a win at No.1 singles (6-4, 6-2), joined by victories from Lipske, Christian, then-sophomore Carly Edwards, and then-freshman Angela Zatloka.

Millikin enters Tuesday's contest after defeating Elmhurst University in conference play on Saturday.

Match results will be available on iwusports.com following completion of play.
