There were 75 Black students enrolled in Livingston County school districts in the 2023-24 school year, 11.8% more than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Data showed that Black students made up 1.3% of the 5,762 students in the county. They were the second least represented ethnicity.

Among the 12 districts in Livingston County, Pontiac Community Consolidated School District 429 recorded the highest enrollment of Black students in the 2023-24 school year, with a total of 39 students.
