The Illinois Wesleyan University men's golf team, currently ranked eighth nationally, is set to compete in the Wabash Invite from October 6-7 at Broadmoor Country Club in Indianapolis. The tournament will feature 36 holes on Monday and a final round of 18 holes on Tuesday.

The Titans recently finished fourth at the NCAA Division III Preview held September 21-23 at Mission Inn Resort + Club in Florida, which will also host the 2026 Division III National Championship. After an initial round that placed them in 22nd position, Illinois Wesleyan improved with scores of 282 and 278 in subsequent rounds to secure a top-five finish. Sophomore Pablo Castro tied the program record by shooting an eight-under-par round of 64 during the final round, earning sixth place individually.

Illinois Wesleyan will field two teams for this event. The 'A' team includes Castro, seniors Myles Lahart, Aidan Healy, Juney Bai, and freshman Jared Code. The 'B' team consists of senior Michael Spitzer, sophomore Joey Sluzas, and freshmen Ryan Andrews, Ben Gelven, and Kevin Schuh.

The Wabash Invite features a competitive field of 15 teams including No. 2 Carnegie Mellon, No. 6 Emory, No. 10 Kenyon as well as Anderson, DePauw, Denison, Hanover, Hope, Millikin, North Central, Ohio Wesleyan, Wabash College (the host), Webster University and Wooster College.

Competition begins Monday at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start. Live scoring will be available through Clippd.
