The field includes several highly ranked teams based on final rankings from the 2024-25 season: LSU (12), Auburn (17), UCF (35), SMU (38), Charleston (43), San Jose State (45), Illinois (48), Alabama (50), Texas Tech (60), Michigan (65), Minnesota (71), Indiana (72), Wisconsin (75), Illinois State (81), and Augusta (187).
Illinois State's lineup for the tournament features Elise Fennell starting at hole 13A, Reagan Kennedy at hole 14, Alex Sparrow at hole 15, Dani Grace Schrock at hole 16B, and Morgan Jones at hole 16A.
In their previous outing at the Redbird Invitational, Illinois State moved up from eighth place after two rounds to finish tied for sixth among sixteen teams. Elise Fennell achieved a top-five finish while Reagan Kennedy recorded a career-low score of 72 in the final round.
