Tasha and Illinois State Representative Jason Bunting have expressed their pride in serving as 4-H leaders within their community during National 4-H Week. In a statement, Bunting highlighted the dedication of local youth involved in the program, noting the importance of skills development and leadership.

"Watching our local members learn new skills, take on leadership roles, and give back to the community is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do," Bunting said.

He emphasized that 4-H activities range from livestock projects to public speaking and community service, helping young people develop responsibility and teamwork. "It’s amazing to see how much these kids grow each year, both in confidence and character," he added.

Bunting also thanked all those who contribute to local 4-H programs. "A huge thank you to all of the members, parents, volunteers, and supporters who make our local 4-H programs such a success. You’re what keeps the 4-H spirit strong in our communities!"

Bunting was elected as a Republican representative for Illinois’ 106th House District in 2023, succeeding Thomas Bennett.
