The Illinois Wesleyan University women's soccer team will host Elmhurst University at Neis Field on Saturday, October 18. The match, scheduled to begin at 11 a.m., will also mark Senior Day for the Titans. Before the game, the team will honor its four seniors: Maya Flemming, Jenna Gravitt, Bree Cordray, and Kayley Carew.

Both Illinois Wesleyan and Elmhurst are currently tied for sixth place in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin standings, each with four points. The Titans hold a 6-6-2 overall record and are 1-2-1 in conference play. Elmhurst has a 9-4-2 overall record and is 1-3-1 in the conference.

Junior Ava Mapes is fourth in the conference in points with seven, having scored three goals and contributed one assist. Her three goals place her second in the league. Goalkeeper Vanessa Gray ranks third in the conference with 23 saves over four games.

Illinois Wesleyan recently secured a 3-0 victory over Augustana College at Neis Field. Liza Wiley scored two goals early in the second period, achieving her fourth career multi-goal game and first of the season. Mapes added another goal late in the match, assisted by Gravitt, to help secure the Titans' first conference win.

Elmhurst has allowed five goals in five conference games and holds the second-best goals against average in the league. The Bluejays most recently lost 1-0 to North Central and their only conference win came against Carroll earlier this month. Illinois Wesleyan leads the all-time series with Elmhurst, 23-6-1. Last season, Elmhurst defeated the Titans 1-0.

Senior Day festivities will begin before the scheduled kickoff at 11 a.m.
