Pontiac City Council Housing Study Committee met Oct. 7.

The Housing Study Special Committee meeting was held Tuesday October 7, 2025 at 4:30 pm at the City Hall Council Chambers
Present were: Aldermen Barr and Howard. Also present were Mayor Eckhoff, Deb Howard, Tina Hammer and City Administrator Woolford.
Old Business
Land bank Update- Waiting on CILB out of Urbana to have their board meeting to take up Pontiac's membership October 16th.
New Business
Incentive: Discussed beginning a roof repair initiative within the TIF as $150,000 was earmarked for a housing program. Discussed criteria and staff will be developing the program.
Plan for Developer/Owner/Realtor Meeting: Date set Tuesday December 2nd 6pm. One hour long to discuss Upstairs Downtown.
