Illinois state Sen. Sue Rezin (R-Morris) was recently given reason to feel optimistic about the state’s long-term future after hosting nearly 50 high school students from the 38th District as part of her annual Youth Advisory Council.
The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) took the wraps off a multi-year, $23.5 billion transportation construction program Oct. 21 that proposes to spend more than $3.7 billion in the current fiscal year alone.
Nearly 50 high school students from across the 38th Senate District participated in a unique, hands-on experience in public policy, state government, and leadership Oct. 24 during State Senator Sue Rezin’s annual Youth Advisory Council.
