Report: Olympia spent $10,412 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Olympia Community Unit School District 16 is down 0 percent from five years ago, according to a McLean County Times analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Mclean County school district spent $10,427 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $10,412 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 1926 to 1848.

Olympia's spending in 2016-17 was 20 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
