The Illinois Wesleyan University women's golf team, currently ranked 12th nationally, will compete in the UW-Whitewater Fall Invite from September 28 to 29. The event will take place at TPC-Wisconsin in Madison, a par-72 course measuring 5,680 yards.

Illinois Wesleyan enters the tournament after winning the IWU Fall Classic earlier this month. Sophomore Gigi Zera earned College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Golfer of the Week honors following her third-place finish and personal best two-round score of 146.

Sixteen teams are set to participate in the tournament, including fourth-ranked Pomona-Pitzer as well as Centre, North Central, UW-Platteville, UW-Superior, Dubuque, UW-La Crosse, UW-River Falls, UW-Whitewater, UW-Stevens Point, Carthage, Berry, Adrian, UW-Stout and Aurora.

Illinois Wesleyan's lineup for the event includes sophomores Grace Fagan and Gigi Zera; juniors Emily Gastrau and Nora Cerroni; and senior Brooke Ehrard. Freshmen Julia Henry and Ashley Wells will compete individually.

The first round on Sunday will begin with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Live scoring is available through Clippd.
