City of Fairbury City Council met July 5.

1. Call to order – Mayor Slagel called the meeting to order.
2. Mayor Slagel directed the Clerk to call roll and the following members of
Council answered present: Gary Norris, Charles Hoselton, Jon Kinate, Gerald Hoffman, Lynn Dameron. Nancy Gerdes-Hibsch, Bruce Weber and Bill Schmidgall were absent.

4. Motion to approve the Consent Agenda – Motion by Dameron, second by Hoffman to approve the following items on the Consent Agenda:

B. Motion by Hoselton, second by Norris to approve Resolution No. 2018-7-5 amending Resolution No. 2000-2-16B as it pertains to employee health insurance. Motion carried 5-0. YES-Norris Hoselton Kinate Hoffman Dameron
C. Motion by Kinate, second by Dameron to approve Ordinance No. 2018-17 Fixing The Compensation Of Certain Employees Of The City Of Fairbury. Motion carried 5-0. YESNorris Hoselton Kinate Hoffman Dameron
