City of Fairbury Planning Commission met September 12.

The Planning Commission held a meeting at 12 Noon. Present were Chairman Rick Wilson, Members Ron Schlipf, Leroy McPherson, Tracy Taylor, Mayor David Slagel and City Superintendent Brett Ashburn. City Clerk Nancy Widlacki filled in for Planning Commission Secretary, Stephanie Houser.
Motion by McPherson, second by Schlipf to approve the August 15, 2018, minutes. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by McPherson, second by Taylor to recommend to the City Council that Bob and Luann Trainor annex into the City. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by McPherson, second by Taylor to strike the proposed R2A district from the Comprehensive Plan Map and rezone it R2. Motion carried unanimously.
