9th Annual CUREageous Event to Present Rock Doc Awards to Area Physicians
OSF HealthCare Cardiovascular Institute inverventional cardiologist Dr. Sudhir Mungee has been named a 2018 Rock Doc Award recipient by the The Illinois CancerCare Foundation.
The Rock Doc Award is presented to physicians who work in the healthcare field in central Illinois, who exhibit outstanding patient care, and who move patient care forward through their support in research.
These professionals are nominated by employees, co-workers, patients, and community members. The winners are selected by an esteemed panel of physicians and community members who hold the same goal of improving the lives of others through clinical research.
The recipients of the 2018 Rock Doc Awards are:
·Dr. Sudhir Mungee, Peoria: Specializes in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology at OSF Cardiovascular Institute
·Dr. Jonathan Roberts, Peoria: Pediatric Oncologist/Hematologist at Bleeding and Clotting Disorders Institute.
·Dr. Steven Tsoraides, Peoria: Specializes in Colorectal Surgery at Peoria Surgical Group
