City of Pontiac issued the following announcement on Jan. 4.
The Pontiac Police Department will be testing for new police officers on March 10th, 2019. Applications are due by 5:00 pm on March 4th, 2019. Qualifications include: U.S. Citizen or permanent resident legally able to work in U.S., Associate's degree or 60 credit hours from a 4 year school toward a Bachelor's degree or an active military waiver, no felony convictions, good moral character, physically able to perform police work.
