CITY OF CHENOA: The City of Chenoa is No Longer Accepting Electronics.

City of Chenoa issued the following announcement on Jan. 10.

Please read the following for proper disposal information for McLean County residents.

State law requires recycling of the following electronics:

Televisions, monitors, printers, computers, electronic keyboards, facsimile machines, videocassette recorders, portable digital music players, digital video disc players, video game consoles, small scale servers, scanners, electronic mice, digital converter boxes, cable receivers, satellite receivers and digital video disc recorders.

The above items above will not be picked up curbside with our bulky waste collection.

Self-Service Electronic Recycling Hours for McLean County Residents

There may not be anyone to help you unload your electronics so we recommend you bring someone to help if you have electronics that are too heavy for you to handle.

Regular Hours (Labor Day - Memorial Day)

Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 2:30 pm

1st Saturday of each month, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Summer Hours (Memorial Day - Labor Day)

Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 1:30 pm

1st Saturday of each month, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Normal Public Works Facility - Electronics Recycling building is after the main Public Works Facility, on the left. Follow the yellow signs
