New Lenox home prices fall in December 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2017 in New Lenox fell by $31,650 while total sales decreased by 30.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2017, there were 25 homes sold, with a median sale price of $240,000 - a 11.7% decrease over the $271,650 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 36 homes sold in New Lenox in December 2016.

The median sales tax in New Lenox for 2017 was $6,632.13. In 2016, the median sales tax was $6,399.90. This marks an increase of 3.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.8%.
