It is requesting a map amendment to change the zoning classification from A-Agriculture District to M-1 Restricted Manufacturing District on property located in Normal Township immediately east of 1425 East Road, approximately.5 miles north of 1900 North Rd. (W. Ziebarth Rd.).

Secretary Dick called the case, provided exhibits to the board and submitted a staff report for review. He indicated the seven standards for a zoning map amendment are met.

Brent Nussbaum, 19336 N 1425 East Road, Hudson, IL appeared to give testimony and was affirmed. Mr. Nussbaum indicated that they will be using this property, which is located across 1425 East Road from their existing truck terminal and farther away from Interstate I-39, to store trucks and truck trailers. He said that he thought this location would offer a better view aesthetically by people traveling on I-39. Mr. Nussbaum said that the location across the road from their existing truck facility will provide needed additional overflow truck parking capacity and will be very accessible from their existing facility.

The board reviewed and discussed the seven standards for a map amendment and found them met.
