The data shows that six men and two women were released in Pontiac. The median age of the parolees was 30. The youngest parolee is a 21-year-old man sentenced in 2018, and the oldest is a 54-year-old man sentenced for property crimes in 2016.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest is Alyssa Lewis. She was convicted of crimes involving drugs in 2012 when she was 22 years old. She is now 28.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
