Bloomington home prices rise in July 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2018 in Bloomington rose by $9,250 while total sales decreased by 12.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2018, there were 137 homes sold, with a median sale price of $172,500 - a 5.7% increase over the $163,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 156 homes sold in Bloomington in July 2017.

The median sales tax in Bloomington for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,769, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for July 2018.
