The continued meeting of the Pontiac City Council was held on Thursday, July 18, 2019 in the City Hall Council Chambers.
Mayor Russell called to order the meeting of the City Council at 7:15 P.M.
The City Clerk was directed to call roll, and the following members of the Council were present: Alvey, Eckhoff, Kallas, Hicks, Causer, Bradshaw, Myers, Gabor and Wille
CONSENT AGENDA
A. Selection of Acting Mayor
Motion by Kallas, second by Wille to approve the appointment of acting Mayor of the City of Pontiac to Bill Alvey, starting August 1, 2019. On a roll call vote, motion carried 9-0. Aye votes recorded: Alvey, Eckhoff, Kallas, Hicks, Causer, Bradshaw, Myers, Gabor and Wille.
B. Designation of Mayor Pro Temp
Motion by Alvey, second by Hicks to approve the appointment of acting Mayor Pro Temp to William Kallas and acting Mayor Pro Temp Temp to Brian Gabor. On a roll call vote, motion carried 9-0. Aye votes recorded: Alvey, Eckhoff, Kallas, Hicks, Causer, Bradshaw, Myers, Gabor and Wille.
C. Selection of Fire Chief
Motion by Kallas, second by Eckhoff to approve the appointment of Jacob Campbell as the new Fire Chief of Pontiac. On a roll call vote, motion carried 9-0. Aye votes recorded: Alvey, Eckhoff, Kallas, Hicks, Causer, Bradshaw, Myers, Gabor and Wille.
