City of Chenoa issued the following announcement on Aug. 31.
Crews working for Ameren Illinois will be trimming trees in and around Chenoa in the near future. They will trim trees that could interfere with electric lines running from pole to pole. Tree trimming helps minimize the likelihood of power outages and safety hazards. Ameren Illinois will mail a notice to customers who may be affected by the distribution tree trimming work. They will also provide a public notice in local newspapers.
