Le Roy home prices fall in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in Le Roy fell by $15,500 while total sales decreased by 21.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were 59 homes sold, with a median sale price of $92,000 - a 14.4% decrease over the $107,500 median sale price for the previous year. There were 75 homes sold in Le Roy in 2016.

The median sales tax in Le Roy for 2017 was $2,957. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,889. This marks an increase of 2.4%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.2%.
