Normal home prices rise in October 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2019 in Normal rose by $5,200 while total sales increased by 14.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2019, there were 56 homes sold, with a median sale price of $163,700 - a 3.3% increase over the $158,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 49 homes sold in Normal in October 2018.

The median sales tax in Normal for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $4,074, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for October 2019.
